This Basic Life Support (BLS) Renewal course is a foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. This BLS renewal course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings. This course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who have current BLS cards and need to renew their CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills.

Classroom-based training is entirely Instructor-led. Students complete the entire renewal course in one video-based classroom session with an Instructor, which covers course content, skills practice, and testing.

• Hands-on instruction with an American Heart Association Instructor allows students to practice skills and ask questions throughout the course.
• Students complete their training in a single convenient session.
• Ideal for students with limited access to technology.
• Students keep their provider manual for ongoing future reference
• Students will need to obtain a textbook for this class from their education department, prior to coming to class.
